In short: we collect what an account and a purchase need, plus ordinary analytics. We do not sell your data. We never ask for an examination index number or PIN. You can ask us to delete your account and we will.

What we collect
When you create an account: your name, email address, and a password we store only as a one-way hash. We never see or store your password itself.
When you buy something: the order, the amount, and a reference from the payment provider. Card details never reach our servers — they are entered on the payment provider's own page and stay with them.
When you use a service: whatever you tell us in the intake form — for tuition, the level, subjects and area; for admissions help, the documents you choose to send.
When you use a tool: the free calculators run entirely in your browser and send us nothing at all. For the account-based tools we record that a run happened, so we can meter usage; we do not warehouse your prompt text indefinitely.
Automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referring page. This is ordinary server and analytics data.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for, receive, store or process examination index numbers or checker PINs. Results are checked on the examinations council's own service, by you, on their site. Any page asking you to type an index number and a PIN to have a result "fetched for you" is not us, and is not safe.
Why we hold it
To run your account and deliver what you bought; to answer support requests; to meet legal and accounting obligations; to understand which articles and tools are useful; and to keep the site secure and free of abuse.
Who we share it with
Only the parties who make the service work, and only what each needs:
- Paystack — payment processing.
- Email delivery providers — account and transactional email.
- Google — advertising and analytics, where you have consented. See our cookie policy.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — who store the data on our behalf.
- Authorities — where the law actually requires it.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
Advertising
This site carries advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits here. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as the account is open, and a period afterwards where records must be kept. Order and payment records for the period accounting rules require. Support conversations for two years. Server logs for a short window, measured in weeks.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask us to delete your account, withdraw consent for cookies at any time, or object to a particular use. Ask through the contact page. We will respond within 30 days, and we will not charge you for it.
Children
Much of what we publish is read by school-age students, which is a good thing and by design. Accounts and purchases, however, are for adults: if you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to make an account and any purchase. We do not knowingly collect account data from a child. If you believe we have, tell us and we will remove it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, never stored in a readable form. Sensitive values are encrypted at rest. Access to the administration area is permissioned and audited. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach affects you, we will tell you.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will say so on the site rather than update it quietly.
